How To Feel Good Often, For No Other Reason Than The Feeling Itself

Become Inquisitive About Your Emotional Life

How often do you feel good, for no other reason than to experience the feelings alone? How do you create these good feelings? Do you listen to music? Exercise? Spend time with those you love or something else? I realise I'm being particular about my questions because I want you to connect with those pleasant emotions. Some people feel guilty because others might be in pain or suffering. Therefore, they feel obligated to downplay their own emotions. But this doesn't serve anyone, because feeling good about yourself can help to uplift others who are experiencing pain or suffering.

For example, think about when you're in the company of an inspiring person. How does it feel to be in their presence? Are you drawn to their charisma, energy or enthusiasm? I know when I'm around such people, I am drawn to their attractive personality. I'm not talking about a romantic attraction but the intensity of the energy the person exudes. Our vibration is one of the most powerful mechanisms we have, and learning to control it, can be a significant measure of how we connect with others. Positive and enriching emotions come not only through other people but through ourselves. There is a sense of rapture, as though time standstill when we experience flow states.

We ought to experience more positive emotions without trying to manufacture them, especially if we are sad or depressed. We must connect with all our feelings and experience them without manipulating or anaesthetising them. Our emotions are our guidance system. They are like a sonar that helps us make sense of our world and create our experience of life. The more we connect with the frequency of our emotions and how they flow through us, the richer our experience becomes. Are you happy with this understanding? Can you see that every emotion you experience is true for you? It requires feeling it honestly, instead of trying to change its path. It is about being authentic with ourselves, so we can live a rich and abundant life.

When we feel good often, for no other reason than to experience the richness of the feelings, we align with our core self. This doesn't mean we will experience positive emotions all the time, since that would be inauthentic. What I'm suggesting is we learn to play with our contrasting states, so we can pull ourselves out of negativity and move to higher emotional well-being. For example, have you ever woken up feeling out of sorts emotionally? There may be no reason for your mood, but it stains the rest of your day and you cannot shake the feeling. We must become inquisitive about our emotional life and process our emotions as honestly as we can. We can then ascend the emotional scale towards freedom, instead of disempowerment.

Connect With What Is Taking Place Inside Your Body

There are many practices and techniques to help facilitate this experience, which I encourage you to explore. If you are working with a trained therapist, they will help you find emotional stability, so you don't experience high or low points. These high or low points happen when our blood sugar rises after eating sugary foods. We experience a spike in blood glucose levels and feel energised for a short period, then our blood sugar levels drop and we are tired, lethargic and moody. The key is to regulate our emotions, so we are in control, instead of letting our emotions dictate our experience. Are you seeing that you can be in charge of your emotional well-being? It is not something you cannot change? You have the power to regulate your emotions and master how you respond to external situations.

It's worth re-stating, if you are working with a therapist, they can help you regulate your emotional well-being. For most people, feeling good often, is one of the most beautiful experiences we can have. Long ago, after a gradual awakening, I experienced moments of bliss and joy throughout the day. It felt incredible, beyond what words can describe. I wanted to hold on to these feelings and make them last, yet sometimes they were fleeting, while other times they lingered for hours, sometimes days. For example, I would walk through the park and be overcome with a sense of oneness and radiating energy of love throughout my body.

It felt strange because I didn't know how to process these feelings. I didn't know how long they would last. Other times I felt guilty, especially whilst others were experiencing pain and suffering from trauma. So, I suppressed my emotions, believing it would ease their suffering. But it didn't help them, nor me. Therefore, I learnt to regulate my emotions, so when I experienced enriching feelings, others would benefit from them. As alluded to earlier, when we are in the company of positive people, we can't help but be drawn to their radiating energy. We can learn to model ourselves on these people and create these emotional states within us. With this in mind, I'd like you to become more aware when you experience positive emotions and journal your experience. Try to connect with what is taking place inside your body. Learn to discern the subtleties of the human body, when you're feeling good. As you do, you can fill your container of life with more uplifting emotions instead of reliving negative emotions from the past.

I Won In 2021!

There are many lessons learned after dealing with the pandemic as well as all the other issues we faced in 2020. Many people also experienced a range of emotions - some they may have never dealt with before. Throughout it though, we needed to believe (and continue to believe) that we will overcome all of this and that life will get better.

All of this got me wondering about what we will be contemplating a year from now. What do we hope to achieve? What do we want to experience? What do we want to learn? How do we want to feel fulfilled - both professionally and personally?

I am not talking about making New Year's Resolutions which most people either don't do or fail to do by February. I am speaking about a higher level of thought. An inspiration, a strong desire, etc. that propels us forward to a greater level of satisfaction within ourselves which hopefully also manifests to others.

This requires spending a lot of time reflecting on who we were in the past, who we are now, and who we want to be. It also includes having more thought-provoking conversations with others close to us on how they perceive us and what they wish for us. It is reading books and articles, watching videos and movies, listening to podcasts and radio shows, and attending lectures and events that challenge us to think differently on how we see ourselves and question why others view us differently.

It takes dedication and perseverance to do this all year long so what do you have to lose? Would it be better to do nothing and feel regret? Or do you decide that 365 days of this "deep dive" into figuring out who you are is really worth it? You also may want to consider... Maybe there is more that you can do but you are blind to it. Maybe there are limiting beliefs that you possess that are holding you back. Maybe you feel "life is OK for now" so you just want to "chill" for a period of time.

Regardless of what you decide to do or not to do, write yourself a letter right now about how you feel. Stick it under your mattress or place it in an out of the way place. A year from now read the letter and ask yourself "have I won in 2021?"

6 Tips to Organize Your Thoughts

Anything can be organized, even your thoughts. We say that we can't help the way we think, but we can! There may be things in life that we have no control over, but our thoughts are not one of them.

When a thought comes to mind, you make the choice to accept or reject that thought. Your choice may be conscious or subconscious, but either way it's your choice.

Our brains function basically like computers. They are constantly processing information; incoming thoughts and outgoing actions. At times, so many thoughts are floating around in our heads that we can't keep them all straight. If we don't purge the excess in some way, we become overwhelmed, and process this information in a much slower, less efficient way than we would like.

The list below provides 6 tips to help organize your thoughts. My hope is that these tips will provide some relief for the barrage of thoughts that come from our fast-paced lives. Clutter is clutter, whether it comes in the form of things in our homes, or the thoughts in our brains. We need to purge clutter from our brains, just like we purge clutter from our homes.

Document your thoughts - This seems like a simple idea and it is. There are times when we have ideas, or thoughts about a multitude of things. If you don't get those things out of your head and documented in some way, you're in danger of forgetting them, or becoming overwhelmed. Use the medium that works best for you such as - pen & paper, text message, voice message, phone app, etc.

Sort your thoughts - After you document all your thoughts, tasks, concerns, ideas, questions, etc., sort them into their respective categories.

Prioritize your thoughts - Due dates and deadlines are priorities based on importance and urgency. Many times, due dates and deadlines determine our priorities. Other times, our troubles cause us to worry, and those thoughts become our priority. Taking an action on those worrisome thoughts, however small it may be, can possibly reduce the stress, so you can purposefully re-prioritize the thought for another time.

Reframing a thought - Reframing refers to changing the way a thought, concept or idea is considered. This can be helpful when you are problem solving. Looking at an issue in a different way may provide a viable solution.

No multi-tasking - It's been determined that multi-tasking is counter-productive. When you try to perform more than one task at a time, your brain spends more time trying to switch between tasks, or thoughts. Focus on one thought at a time for optimal productivity.

Mental clarity - Sometimes we need a break. Thinking can be exhausting. In order to organize our thoughts, we need mental clarity. There are many ways to achieve mental clarity and it's different for all of us. Taking a walk in the fresh air does it for me. Meditation works for some, while exercise does it for others. Find something that works for you and practice it regularly.

A Proper Attitude Can Bring Success!

A Proper Mindset Can Bring Success!

Success begins with attitude. Various attitudes provide different end results. A weak state of mind results in adverse outcomes. A favorable state of mind causes success. While your experience, education, learning, and abilities can matter a great deal, your frame of mind can make all the distinction.

Thankfully, any individual can establish an attitude for success. It's absolutely less complicated and doesn't take as long as grasping a complicated technique!

Produce a way of thinking that develops success! Consider these parts in your attitude:

1. Thankfulness, aka gratitude. Be happy with what you have. Enjoy the success of others. If you cannot rejoice for others when they succeed, your very own success will undoubtedly be restricted.

2. Assessment of danger is an incentive. Competent individuals are masters at reviewing risk as well as benefit. Not so successful individuals either refuse to assess any kind of hazards or handle ways to mitigate the threat for the prospective incentive. Neither is an effective method to move towards a positive, successful life.

3. Concentrate on psychological, [and also] physical health and wellness. Compromising your health and wellness for success isn't a real success. What do you truly obtain if you accomplish your objectives yet compromise your physical or psychological health and wellness at the same time? Know the risks before going after success.

4. Wealth. How much you are worth is not a viable goal in a 'success' mindset. Just look around at people with plenty of money and lots of things, and you'll find most of them worry about losing it, acquiring it, how to hoard it and get more. Wealth is about nurturing contentment in relationships while doing the greater good. It's not taking, it's giving!

5. Embrace your failings! Actually, that's the momentum test of life. Failing is ensured to take place; count on it. Gain and be nurtured in your errors, mistakes, and blunders. Treat them as opportunities for yourself and others around you. Whatever you do, don't play the blame game. If you do that, you've just lost the momentum test in this situation. In weakness, you become stronger.

6. Development. A successful mindset is a healthy appreciation for self-learning; being teachable is a great way to pick up new skills. You cannot attain new ideas without expanding on an old thought in a unique situation. It could come from your abilities, perspective, self-control, or guts that sees that opportunity to develop. If you are presently stuck in a rut, relish it and feel confident; you are feeling the teachable growing pains zone.

7. Determine to be uneasy. Being in a comfort zone is definitely not your friend. Development isn't pleasurable. There will undoubtedly be some pain as you create your own paths, fall short, as well as making errors. Also, success can be unpleasant. Exactly how uneasy are you going to be to come to be effective? The fear of being uneasy is the restricting success aspect for the majority of people.

8. A favorable perspective. I call this a positive mental attitude, but before you can acquire that, you need to be relaxed and smart. So, how you approach the tasks of your day and the mundane things determines your success. If you're grumpy, bored, and aggravated, well, your day is going to be miserable. The other choice is to look at your day as a grand adventure. Each task and its function becomes a nugget of opportunity to be polished and nourished, providing an unimaginable wealth of greater good.

9. Preparation. Success for every individual is a specific objective. You're not likely to strike it on the first go-around or for that matter, several go-arounds. Without a particular plan in mind, preparation, and continually tweaking as you're arriving, you are counting way too much on good luck to sensibly anticipate success.

10. Be your own coach. The prevailing thought is to hire an advisor that has actually accomplished the success you want. There lies the rub. You have a unique idea; it can't be fitted into someone else's application. I cannot imagine the tech founders of the computer era having a coach; I think the computer would have been delayed by decades. Frankly, virtue is in the eye of the beholder. Embrace the challenge, be skillful, decisive, and don't stop nurturing forward.

Consider your existing attitude contrasted to the present outcomes you're experiencing in your life. Can you see an endless loop, or do you see a seamless link?

If you really feel that you have the abilities to be effective, yet still lose, it could be time to have a look at your state of mind. Each individual has a choice in their way of thinking. There are no conditions for having a pleasant state of consciousness; you can simply choose. Put your faith in yourself by choosing to be successful!

Making Affirmations Work For You!: 5 Essentials

Although, nearly, everyone, claims, they want to become the best, they can possibly, be, few seem ready, willing, knowledgeable - enough, or able to/ capable of, proactively, doing things, which will better - position, themselves, to make wiser decisions, and take better actions/ strategies, to overcome their personal weaknesses, and effectively, take advantage of their strengths! Some individuals have discovered, the ability of properly using affirmations, to be, a great, first - step, to make this meaningful journey, of self - discovery, and improvements! Unfortunately, many, either, are not aware of, or don't take doing this, seriously, and thus, lose a terrific opportunity, to be better, and overcome personal challenges! With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, 5 essential parts, of making, and using affirmations, properly, and effectively, for self -improvement/ enhancements!

1. Check - up, from the neck - up/ know and understand your personal priorities: Take the time, and commitment, to give yourself a thorough, check - up, from the neck - up, so you are able to be honest with yourself, and objectively, and introspectively, become better! Don't rush through this, but, rather, determine what you really want, and how to align your goals, and priorities, to serve you, in a meaningful manner! Doing so, you will be able to identify, and understand, both, your strengths, as well as weaknesses, in order to become better prepared, and effective!

2. Consider/ create 10 items/ things, you wish to address, proactively: An affirmation should be, a positive statement, stated, in the present - tense! Studies indicate, creating 10 items, at a time, and writing them down, is, probably, the most effective approach. For example, if you feel, you need to lose weight, avoid saying, I need to go on a diet, but, rather, phrase - it, something, like, I am proud of my body's appearance, and constantly, commit, to doing, whatever, healthy actions, will maintain that.

3. Put them down, in, positive, personal, active statements/ affirmations: Write down your 10 affirmations, and review them, carefully, to ensure they are your true priorities/ goals/ emphasis, etc! Affirmations work, most effectively, when they are personal, positive, and make a true difference, for the better, both, actually, as well as, how one perceives them!

4. Read them aloud, 3 times per day: Don't just write them down, but, commit, and have the discipline, to read them, slowly, and in a meaningful way, at least, 3 times, every day, into a mirror, if possible! For many people, doing this, first - thing in the morning, when you return home, from work, and before going to bed, are the best times. Studies show, when you write things down, and read them, aloud, they have the most impact!

5. Commit to doing so, daily: Effectively, using affirmations, requires the commitment to doing so, every day, on a regular basis! If, done, properly, it directs you, to making significant changes, which, might, make you feel better, about yourself, and your self - worth!

If you hope to become the best, you can be, making and using personal affirmations, may be, a significant, effective tool! Are you willing, to make this commitment, and maintain it?
