This Is Why You Should Believe in Your Dreams

We all have heard it countless times, "Believe in yourself!", "Believe in your dreams!". Why and how is another matter all together. So today I thought instead of telling you to believe in yourself and your dreams maybe I should tell you why and how to do that. Because let's face it, when you are down and feel like you want to give up. Even if somebody was to say to you, "Believe in yourself" or "Believe in your dreams", you wouldn't know exactly how to start and worse how to go about it exactly.

Decoding the why and how to believe in your dreams is going to be helpful to you so that you know how to harness the power within you to believe. With such power you will become unstoppable and never allow obstacles to distract you from pursuing your goals.

The "why" is simple, if you do not believe in something your effort and energy towards it reflect that. If I told you to fly to the moon you wouldn't even try unless you have Elon Musk next to you and a couple of astronauts, why? because it seems unattainable you wouldn't believe it can be done. However, if I told you to run a 10km marathon, you would be more likely to act on it because it seems attainable. When we believe something can be achieved, our conscious and subconscious mind work better and influence us to take actions that make it possible to achieve our goals.

All things needed to succeed are born from believing in the possibility of your dream coming to life. Energy, hard work, resilience, failing and trying without giving up are all a product of believing in your dream. In the absence of the belief in your dreams the actions needed to succeed in your goal are impossible to take.

How to believe in your dream is simple but will require you to live more intentionally. Belief and confidence are all like muscle, you train the muscle by starting with the easier weight. We all have things that we have done that we never thought were possible before, maybe this is finding true love, or starting a career or a business. List all things that you thought were not possible before but you happened to achieve in your life. From that you should begin to see that anything you put your mind and energy into is actually possible to achieve.

The Importance Of Having A Vision In Life

There is nothing easier in life than just blindly following the crowd and not having to worry about whether the path you are on is right or wrong as it is already tested so many times by people before you that you can be almost sure that you will definitely achieve at least something if you stay on it. However, having your own vision which is unrelated to what others are doing has its own perks.

First of all, a vision gives you a purpose and makes all your efforts seem worthwhile to you because you are aware where exactly you are going with all that you are doing. Otherwise, you might be putting in a lot of effort but you will never realize how far you have come and how far you still have to go. That will eventually make you lose interest in your endeavor and at some point, you might give up. But when you have a definite vision, you seldom lose motivation. You always have a direction to move forward and a standard to measure your progress.

Secondly, when you have a vision, you try to find your own solutions whenever you are stuck somewhere. It makes you wiser every time and affects your personality in a very positive way. Your level of maturity rises and sense of responsibility improves. If you do not have a vision, you will seldom find the courage and urge to try and overcome your problems. You will see yourself blaming luck or other such factors most of the times because that is simply not what you really want to do.

Last but not the least, your vision makes you who you are and decides what you deserve in life. It gives you courage to not settle for less. When you know your true worth, you realize what you are capable of and where you truly belong. On the other hand, you miss a number of opportunities when you do not have a vision because you might just be following those who are not even half as talented as you. You can only imagine where your life might end up.

You live only once and this is your one and only chance to do what you really want to do. You can live in fear and continue to lead a life of mediocrity or you can learn to let go of secure paths and choose the kind of life you were born to live. The choice is yours!

What Will You Do, To Make You GREAT?

If, you don't strive, and refuse, to, proactively, do, all you can, to make yourself, the best, you can be, no one else, will! Commit, to regularly, take the time, and make the effort, to give yourself a check - up, from the neck - up, in a truly, objective, introspective way, so you can realistically, know, and understand, your strengths, and weaknesses, and proceed, forward, to effectively take advantage of, and use, every strength, while addressing areas of personal weakness! Ask yourself, what are you, ready, willing, and able to do, and will do, to make yourself, truly, GREAT? With, that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means and represents, and why it matters.

1. Goals; growth (personal): How will you create your personal goals, and, why do you believe these, are the ones, which mean, most, to you? Create a series of goals, instead of one, and consider, them, not only, in the near - term, but also, in the intermediate, and longer - run! What do they represent to you, and how might, they change your life, for the better, in a relevant, and sustainable manner? How will you measure, your personal growth, and, why do you believe, improving, in these areas, are personal priorities, and truly, meaningful, for your health, happiness, satisfaction, and well - being?

2. Realistic; responsible: It doesn't help you, to look, at your life, wearing - blinders, and/ or, rose - colored - glasses! You will only become better, when/ if, you proceed, in a realistic way, and focus, on how to become better! Emphasize, the most responsible course - of - action, for you, to take, to make a meaningful, difference, in your own life!

3. Efforts; excellence; empathy: Doesn't it make sense, to proceed forward, effectively using your efforts, so you might, be able, to consistently, demand your utmost degree of personal excellence, rather than accepting, good - enough? Be willing to listen to others, so you might better, understand, your needs, and priorities, and understand, how, proceeding with genuine empathy, makes you, a far - better, person!

4. Attitude; aptitude; attention; action: Proceed, with a positive, can - do, attitude, so you consider, how you can succeed, rather than focusing on all the reasons, you might fail! Every day, commit to enhancing your aptitude, and skill - set, so you can take advantage of these, and become a better person! Instead of avoiding, and/ or, procrastinating, consistently, be ready, willing, and able, to pay, keen attention, and choose, proactively, taking the best action!

5. Truthful; time - tested; timely; trends: It may feel, more comforting, in the short - term, to lie, to yourself, but, only, when you are truthful, will you be greater! Balancing time - tested knowledge and expertise, with proceeding, with well - considered, timely action (instead of procrastination), and discovering, if any recent/ current trends, might be beneficial, will you help yourself, along the path, of quality, personal growth, and development!

What will you do, to ensure, you have the opportunity, to be, as GREAT, as you might become? Will you commit to the necessary actions?
