Work Less Achieve More, Right After Reading This Article!

Have you ever wanted to have thirty-six hours a day because twenty-four is not enough? The deadlines for given tasks and projects seem too close that you cannot finish on time. The worse, unbalanced lifestyle enhances stress that makes you unhappy and miss the beauty of your life. However, you're not the only person with twenty-four hours a day, the busiest people with the busiest schedules on this planet have same exact amount of time. They're good at time management because they know how good time management makes their life better.

Wouldn't it be nice if you finish your project or task before given time, so you can take a rest or grab a cup of coffee? When you manage your time wisely, you'll have more leisure time for yourself. More than that, you'll not be over stressed again because you know exactly what comes next (for the most of time). The best part is, you'll have better work and life balance which will give enough time for you to spend with your loved ones or practice a hobby.

If I've got you convinced, let's take a look at how to effectively manage our valuable time with these four proven techniques.

The first and the most effective technique is to plan your day in advance. Think about what you're going to do tomorrow from today and write it down. Of course there're several methods that you can plan your day. For example, journaling; many successful people keep a journal, journals are already made for planning purposes, so it's easy to plan your day with a journal. As a matter of fact, after I started to journal, my life has changed a lot. For me, journaling does more than planning the 'tomorrow' because it helps me to track the whole year. That means, journaling will give you the most accurate analysis of the year and you'll be able to see your development, also correct your mistakes for the next year.

Another way to plan your day ahead is to have a to-do list. It's simple, easy and makeable in no time, simply you write what to do for the day. To-do lists can be in your journal as you wish. To effectively make a to-do list, you should put your tasks in time-blocks. Think about any task that you need to do; writing an essay, hitting the gym or preparing for finals. Whatsoever your task is, put specific time periods for specific tasks. For example, study for an hour, by doing this you force yourself to finish your study in an hour, as a result, you avoid distractions.

But wait, how do you guess an estimated time for particular task or activity? If you're unsure about how much time you should set for a task, then you simply test it. Set your stopwatch (you've it in your phone if not on internet) and stop it when you get it done, now you know for how long that specific task lasts. While doing that, you must avoid any distractions like social media or phone calls, remember, you've got limited time to finish your task.

Second, since time management is all about having the best out of your time, prioritizing is the key. "If it's your job to eat a frog, it's best to do it first thing in the morning. And if it's your job to eat two frogs, it's best to eat the biggest one first", said Mark Twain. Do your most important tasks first, which is generally in the morning. After you're done with it, do less pertinent tasks. By doing this your workflow gets more organized and helps you to be more sufficient.

Third, take your time, take regular breaks. Without enough rest, you cannot be productive. You can arrange your breaks with Pomodoro technique which was developed by Francesco Cirillo. Basically, you work for twenty-five-minute block and have a break of five minutes. However, I modified this technique for myself and you can do the same because this's like a template that you can use.

You can use this amazing template in two ways, here is what I did, first, I changed the time blocks, for me it is forty-five-minute work and five minutes of rest. On the other hand, when I write, I make the outline first, after I'm done with the outline, I take a rest of ten minutes, then I start writing. As you can see, you can change the time blocks or you can adapt it to yourself as task based breaks. Because in particular tasks, for me it's writing, you get really focused and you're in the flow, so you don't want to stop. After completing four cycles like these, take a longer break of twenty minutes. Again, use it as however it suits you.

The last one, have a morning routine and wake up early. How do you start your day? Do you check your smart phone and go through social media or make your bed? If you're on your phone, then you're wasting your time. Here is what happens, I tracked how much time I spend on social media in mornings and it was approximately thirty minutes. Instead of spending thirty minutes on social media, I started to use that time for myself, the improvement was incredible. If you don't believe me try yourself!

Good Habits Support Good Results

Are you perhaps feeling that now's the time to improve your health and your life? Good habits are often crucial to achieving good results and a positive outcome.

You may be looking to lose weight, become fitter, more successful, are motivated to do well at work or feel it's time to extend your circle of friends; all require sustained effort to continue beyond the first few enthusiastic days.

Let good habits support good results

- The first thing to appreciate about good habits is that they must have a real resonance for you. If you're not especially bothered about being slimmer, fitter or more successful, then that lack of enthusiasm won't sustain you through cold dark evenings or on the tough days when your will power starts to waver. Having friends or family who are pushing you to 'improve' only increases your stress levels, resentment and maybe even feelings of low self-esteem. Pick good habits that feel right for you.

- Small steps are a positive way to move towards your bigger goals. Stepping-stones can help to prevent you from feeling overwhelmed at having to tackle everything all at once. Recognise each milestone you achieve; give yourself credit for enrolling in that class, not eating that cake, declining that alcoholic drink. Each decision takes you nearer to those good results.

- Stay focused, but also appreciate that sometimes other options may appear which can add value to your life. Don't allow yourself to become too distracted from your agreed good habits but equally be ready for great opportunities that may come along. Ring-fence the time, money or mental energy you expend on distractions. Allow yourself to make the most of them and enjoy what they bring to your life, but don't let them take you away from the big picture and your ultimate goal.

- Being accountable to others can be a great motivator. Having to check in regularly and report on your progress ensures that you keep your eye on each stage of the journey. Knowing that you've a regular date in the diary can quickly push temptations out of your mind.

- Joining a group and working together on shared goals can provide a good support network. Exchanging tips, advice and motivational stories can give a real boost on those tired, unenthusiastic days. And if we know our attendance is important to the group's survival it can inspire us to continue going. Being a group member, even when it's online, can encourage us to stick with our good habits. The downside though is that if one or two members lose their enthusiasm it can demotivate the rest.

- Sometimes paying upfront to join a club or gym pushes people to go regularly, whilst others lose interest and go only a couple of times even after paying out all that money. For me, I've committed to a weekly delivery of locally grown organic vegetables. It's inspired me to eat at least one item from the box every day and it's good to cook from scratch, eat fresh organic meals, shop local and sometimes try new things that I've never cooked before. Having it arrive every week means there's no excuse to slack off from eating this healthy veg, and it's a habit I'm pleased to maintain.

- Be aware of your vulnerable areas and put steps in place to mitigate them. So, for example, if you know that you find reasons to justify stopping at the petrol station, off licence or supermarket every day, where you then 'accidentally' buy chocolates, wine, cigarettes or scratch cards, intercept those times and don't go. Instead, shop online or make a list and shop once a week. Don't put yourself in temptation's way.

- Using the services of a professional coach or therapist may be worth considering if you feel there are specific issues which are holding you back and which need to be addressed. Regular sessions could help you move on, introduce a positive mindset, manage stress and determine to treat yourself better.

Be gentle with yourself. It can take 2-6 months for a new habit to become your automatic default. If you experience slip ups, bad days and 'can't be bothered's be kind to yourself and let them go. Remind yourself of all the good reasons you have to persist and start again, knowing that by sticking with your good habits you'll ultimately support good results and outcomes.

How A Person Becomes A Success

Success is a quality that most of us desire, yet do we really know what success is? The concept is so broad. Imagine coming to a new country called the United States as a little boy and not even being able to walk on your feet when you are young. Then you require lots of medical attention and spend lots of time in a hospital setting. The very thought of being strapped to an operating table terrifies you. It scares you so much that you start to cry and you wonder when this nightmare is going to be over. After each surgery especially if there are several of them, you have to spend at least a good 8 weeks just to recover.

After all of the required medical attention, you most probably need physical therapy to improve the flexibility and coordination in your muscles and joints. Upon starting school as a child, you may become picked on and bullied by other kids. You may have trouble relating to others on a social level. But in spite of these challenges, you are very gifted and smart academically. All throughout your school career, you become a success and receive many awards for your good grades. You become well-liked by your teachers and many of your classmates. Even a loss in the student body elections for student secretary in middle school during the 7th grade does not deter you from wanting to succeed in school.

Upon graduating from high school, your academic prowess continues and you end up getting an undergraduate degree. You are then able to prove that you can hold a job successfully. Your employer sees your dedication and hard work and he or she also notices your value to the company. And even after you are laid off from your job, you can still see yourself as a success because you worked so hard to get to where you are today in spite of so many challenges and obstacles. Upon being laid off from your corporate job, you begin to explore other possibilities of jobs that you could do. Somehow, you end up studying Accounting, still feeling and believing that you are a success in your life. The story that was just told is a short version of the story of this writer and how he became a success. This narrative account shows what real success really is even if you lose your job and have been affected by a down economy.

Consciously Live Your Personal Mission

Is what I say I want really important to me? Is it worth it to me to create what I say I want? The situations of your life, whether in relationships, work, or self, are a reflection of the experience of life that you consciously or unconsciously choose.

Your Mission Statement is your guide, to help you consciously choose the kind of life that you want. The next step for you is to apply your Mission Statement to a Vision that you want to create. Conscious application of your Mission Statement will help you become much more "attractive": the ability to bring into your reach all of the people, money, resources and opportunities you need to create the future you want. Here are ten suggestions about how to use your Mission Statement to create a successful, effortless and happy experience of life.

1. Reframe your Mission in form of a question.

A Mission Statement that works applies to every aspect of your life. Learn to consciously ask yourself "How can I live my Mission in this moment?". As you get more comfortable with your "Mission Question" (through frequent use), it becomes a powerful tool to give you the answers you need to get unstuck, or reenergized at whatever you do. Say your Mission Question to yourself when you get up in the morning ("How will I live my Mission today?"). Say it when you go to bed ("How did I live my Mission today?"). Say it whenever you get bored, unmotivated, annoyed, surprised, or successful!

2. Keep your mission at top of mind.

Your Mission Statement is a tool to help you live at a more conscious level. One tool some people use is to set your wristwatch to beep every hour on the hour. When it beeps, stop whatever you are doing, take a full deep breath (inhale AND exhale), then say your Mission Statement to yourself. This "Mission Break" will do wonders to reenergize you. To accelerate whatever you are doing, take more frequent Mission Breaks... and at the limit, you will always repeating your Mission to yourself, to the point that it will push out any negative or doubtful thoughts.

3. Create the experience of your Mission with every person you meet.

As you live your Mission, find ways to inject the "experience" of it in every conversation and interaction with others. This does not have to be overt, or artificial... by simply keeping your Mission at top of mind, and asking your Mission Question whenever you hesitate, get stuck or are unsure, you will learn to naturally let your personal gift come forth. After a while, this will become automatic. When it does, you will be amazed at how easy it is to quickly connect and build trust with others, even people you have never met before!

4. Create time to experience your Mission with yourself, alone.

Take time off, preferably on a daily or weekly basis, to be alone with yourself. During these solo times, consciously experience your Mission with yourself. Repeat your Mission Statement as a mantra as you do a solo activity, especially in nature, or as you meditate or pray. In my experience, I often get powerful insights and solutions to issues in my life when I repeat my Mission Statement while doing a physical activity in nature (a mountain hike, a long run, or a swim). Experiencing your Mission while solo will also help you tap into your inspiration and your spiritual connection.

5. Transform your Mission Statement into your "Personal Brand"

Share your Mission with others by transforming it into your Personal Brand. Share your Mission Statement with others. Make your Mission the mission of your business, job or livelihood. Let it become your theme. People "buy" whatever you are offering, not because of what it is you are offering, but rather because they trust you... because you are projecting yourself honestly, congruently and transparently.

6. Look at your life experiences through the lens of your Mission.

Interpret everything that happens in your life, or that catches your attention, through the lens of your Mission. Ask yourself "How does this fit with my Mission?" Your Mission is a "decoder ring" that can help you make sense of what is happening around you. Conscious use of your Mission will make clear patterns, trends and opportunities that would otherwise appear as random, unconnected events. Instead of just being "lucky", you will quickly be able to accomplish miracles... because that's what you were always destined to create!

7. Use your Mission as the final decision criteria

Every decision in your life is a choice between regret and happiness. As you learn to use your Mission as your final criteria for all your decisions, you will naturally find more happiness in life. Regret comes from your unconscious longing to satisfy your Mission... if what you're doing now is not allowing you to experience your Mission, you have two choices: reframe what you're doing to be more in alignment with your Mission, or choose to stop right there. The more you use your Mission to make choices that are right for you, the more you will find that real success is effortless, because you are doing what comes naturally, and you don't have to force it!. You will be able to avoid regretful situations, and turn every decision into happiness.

8. Maximize your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Your physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health determine your capacity to fully live your Mission. The more health you experience in all aspects of your life, the more you are able to live your Mission. Make your health your priority, and you will find that life take a lot less effort.

9. Arrange your environment so it promotes your Mission

Everything in your environment should reinforce your Mission in life. Block out everything that causes you to doubt your Mission, especially the media (including television and news). Surround yourself with quotes, sayings, reminders of your Mission. Collect reminders of your successes, your essence, your personal brand.

10. Use your Mission Statement as a launch point for deeper exploration.

Mission work is a never-ending journey, where each new realization adds to your happy and successful fulfillment of life. The Mission Statement process you have just gone through is just the start of this process. Use the insights that you have gained to continue on your path...there are many books, courses and experiences you can use to propel you on your path. Take the time to explore your Mission Statement with your local spiritual leaders (pastor, priest, rabbi). True mastery of life comes with making exploration of your Mission job number one. Use every experience, big or small, as an opportunity to apply your Mission, and you will discover true happiness and success in every moment.
